Parliament to Take a Stance on EU Institutional Reform

Ljubljana, 5 July - The parliamentary European affairs commission discussed the Intergovernmental Conference and the EU institutional reform on Wednesday, deciding to take a stance on the issue and launching a debate on the future role of the parliament after Slovenia's accession to the Union. The government's views on the institutional reform were presented by Slovenia's chief EU negotiator and acting director of the government European Affairs Office, Janez Potocnik.
