Four Slovene Comedians Announce (Hypothetical) Plan to Go Silent

Ljubljana, 5 July - Four Slovene comedians have announced their intention to "opt, unanimously and irrevocably, for a uniform cultural silence in case of a hostile takeover of the Slovene media". Boris Kobal, Saso Hribar, Gojmir Lesnjak-Gojc and Tone Fornezzi-Tof published a public statement in Wednesday's Delo in which they stated: "It is no secret anymore that the Bajuk government would (also) like to usurp Slovenia's leading media at any cost, and regardless of the cost."
