Communal Waste is One of the Gravest Problems of a Modern Society

Moravske Toplice, 6 July - Communal waste is one of the gravest problems in the world today and one of the most burning concerns of well-organised societies. Slovenia, which worked out its strategy of waste management five years ago, is now making the best effort to adapt to the EU directives, established a two-day seminar on communal waste management. The seminar was organised by the Slovene Environmental Movement (SEG) and the Faculty of Engineering of Maribor in co-operation with the Ministry of the Environment and Physical Planning.
