Workers of Intereuropa Begin Strike

Koper, 7 July - Workers of the Slovene transport company Intereuropa began a strike on Friday morning after negotiation between the Trade Union for Road Transport and the management of the company failed to bear fruit on Thursday. The workers are protesting peacefully at their working positions, however, the exact number of those protesting from the 1500 employees is not clear. Workers announced that the strike will continue until demands of the employees are met. However, the employees striking have been told not to disrupt the shareholder meeting of the company which is to take place at noon on Friday.
