Intereuropa Shareholders Decided on Dividends, Adopt Report for 1999

Koper, 7 July - The shareholders of transport company Intereuropa examined last year's result and adopted the annual report for 1999 in a meeting which took place on Friday. The Koper-based company turned over SIT 12.297 billion (60 million euros) and created SIT 2 billion (ca. 10 million euros) in profit in 1999, recording 8 and 47 percent increases respectively over 1998 figures. During the meeting the shareholders agreed to earmark half of the profit for dividends, meaning that a shareholder will obtain SIT 140 (0.69 euro) per share. During today's meeting the shareholders also elected a deputy head of the supervisory council.
