Debate on Electoral Legislation to be Concluded This Week?

Ljubljana, 10 July - This week, the last before the first possible term (16 July) to call parliamentary elections in autum, the parliament will hold an extraordinary session discussing the most appropriate term to call and hold the elections. The parliament will then form an opinion on the issue which is to be submitted to the Slovene President by 13 July. The parliament will also debate the proposal by a group of MPs to start a procedure to change the 80th artcile of the Constitution, by which proportional representation would be set down in the Constitution.
