Defence Minister in Favour of Professionalisation of Slovene Armed Forces

Ljubljana, 10 July - After the first weeks of re-taking the Defence Minister's office, my first impression is that, despite numerous reorganisations that took place during the past six years, the structure of the Ministry has remained essentially the same, Defence Minister Janez Jansa told the press at a first press conference in which he presented the situation in his Ministry on Monday. Among the priorities in the next months he pointed out a bill on introducing professional armed forces.
