Kucan, Mesic and Havel Share a Common View on the Situation in Montenegro

Dubrovnik, 10 July - "There is no difference in the presidents' views on the situation in Montenegro," Slovene President said Monday after talks with his Croatian and Czech counterparts Stipe Mesic and Vaclav Havel. Kucan believes that it is a matter of Montenegrin parliament and its responsibility to have adopted a resolution by which it rejected the constitutional changes passed by the Yugoslav federal assembly. "We believe that the parliament will approach its implementation so as not to provoke conflicts or to put at stake human lives, human rights and human dignity," Kucan said, resuming his talks in Dubrovnik.
