Slovenia and Macedonia Reach Agreement on Wine Quotas

Ljubljana, 11 July - In a continuation of a Slovene government and business delegation visit to Macedonia, State Secretary at the Agriculture Ministry Franc But met with Macedonian representatives of the ministries for trade and agriculture with whom he discussed the allocation of quotas for agricultural products for the second half of this year. The Ministry of Agriculture reported that the two countries reached an agreement on the quotas for wine, which will be lower by 9 million litres per year, while there is no substantial changes for other agricultural products. Changes will, however, be introduced for confectionery products.
