Slovene-EU Joint Committee Session to Focus on Denationalisation

Ljubljana, 11 July - Denationalisation is expected to be the focus of attention at discussions during the fifth session of the joint committee of the Slovene and European Parliament which will take place on Wednesday and Thursday in the Slovene capital Ljubljana and in the coastal city of Koper. Special attention will also be paid to the qualifications of the public service and the reform of this sector, as well as backlogs at courts. As was indicated previously the session will be attended by several Slovene ministers, including Foreign Minister Lojze Peterle, in addition to French Ambassador Olivier de la Baume in the name of France which is presiding over the EU and Head of the European Commission Delegation to Slovenia Eric van der Linden.
