The Biggest Slovene Tourist Event 'Bier - Flowers 2000' to Open at Lasko

Laško, 12 July - The 36th traditional tourist and entertainment event 'Bier - Flowers 2000', the biggest in Slovenia, will open on Wednesday at Lasko, eastern Slovenia. The event, which will close on 16 July, will this year feature the longest parade of one and a half kilometres, consisting of 45 carts. The organisers, the Lasko Tourist Board, explained that the event sees around 120,000 visitors every year.
