Slovene Foreign Minister Satisfied with Adoption of Protective Legislation for Slovene Minority in Italy

Slovene Foreign Minister Lojze Peterle has expressed his profound satisfaction with the adoption of the law to protect the rights of the Slovene ethnic minority in Italy. The act was passed a while ago by the Italian Chamber of Deputies, Italy's lower chamber of parliament, but needs approval from the Senate before taking effect.
