Voting Legislation: President Kucan Should Take into Consideration Developments in Parliament

Ljubljana, 13 July - In a response to the Slovene President, who inquired about the dates to call this year's general elections, regularly scheduled for autumn, the National Assembly passed an opinion on Thursday in wihch it did not suggest any specific dates. However, MPs expect Milan Kucan to take into account, when making a decision on when to call elections, the fact that Parliament is still working on changes to the voting legislation.
