Famous Tenor Jose Cura at the 48th International Summer Festival in Ljubljana

Ljubljana, 13 July - Famous tenor Jose Cura will on Friday perform at the 48th International Summer Festival in Ljubjana. Cura will perform both as singer and conductor at a gala concert of opera arias together with the Slovene symphony orchestra and Marko Letonja. In the first part of the concert the guest will conduct Puccini's La Fanciulla del West (The Girl of the Golden West) and the Intermezzo of the opera Manon Lescaut, followed by Verdi's La Forza del Destino. The concert will take place at the arts centre Cankarjev dom. The composer, conductor, tenor and photographer was on Thursday morning received by Mayoress of Ljubljana Viktorija Potocnik.
