Janez Podobnik Congratulates Newly-Elected Speaker of Japanese Parliament

Ljubljana, 13 July - Slovene Speaker of Parliament Janez Podobnik on Thursday sent a letter of congratulation to the newly-elected Speaker of the lower house of the Japanese parliament, Tamisuke Watanuki, expressing his wish that the relations between Slovenia and Japan would be maintained at the best possible level. Podobnik is convinced that good relations between the two countries' parliaments would continue as the two parliaments enter new mandates, the Slovene parliament reported.
