The Government Briefed on Plans of the National Tourist Organisation

Ljubljana, 13 July - The government was on Thursday briefed on the activities of the Centre for Slovenia's Promotion (CPTS) in 1999, and approved the programme of activities of the Slovene National Tourist Organisation (SANTO) for 2000. SANTO will this year pay more attention to promotion campaigns for each individual area on its target markets respectively, for which 18 percent of its funds will be allocated. SNTO will also reduce the number of performances at fairs.
