President Kucan to Pay a Working Visit to Rome on Friday
Ljubljana, 13 July - Slovene President Milan Kucan will pay a one-day visit to Rome on Friday, during which he will meet his host, Italian President Carlo Azeglio Ciampi, Prime Minister Giuliano Amato and the Vatican State Secretary, Cardinal Angelo Sodano. During his visit the Slovene president will be accompanied by Slovene Foreign Minister Lojze Peterle, State Secretary for Slovenes living abroad Zorko Pelikan, representative of the Italian minority in the Slovene parliament Roberto Battelli and Slovene Ambassador to Italy Peter Bekes.
