Slovenia and Luxembourg Potential Allies as EU Members

Luxembourg, 14 July - Chief Slovene negotiator with the EU Janez Potocnik and officials of Luxembourg's Foreign Ministry on Friday in Luxembourg again established that Slovenia and Luxembourg are potential allies as EU members, since they have potentially similar interests as they are both small countries, Potocnik explained. Luxembourg's Foreign Ministry believes that Slovenia is not problematic as a EU candidate country, therefore it should be among the first new members to be accepted to the Union, said Potocnik.
