Delo Comments on Verheugen's Visit to Slovenia

Ljubljana, 18 July - Analysts and reporters accredited to European institutions hardly gave European Commissioner for Enlargement Gunther Verheugen a passing grade. The bad results were said to be due to his poor representation of European enlargement policy. The Brussels-based media reproached Verheugen for not giving candidate countries direct answers about a hypersensitive issue, namely EU enlargement, the daily Delo writes on Tuesday, a day after the EU commissioner arrived for a two-day visit to Slovenia.
