Slovene Marathon Swimmer Reaches Budapest

Budapest, 18 July - "The water is a bit cold, but I feel good in it," said a Slovene marathon swimmer after reaching Budapest on Monday. Martin Strel embarked on 25 June upon a record-breaking attempt to swim in two months the distance from the source of the Danube to its mouth in the Black See, a total of 2,860 kilometres. Strel's historic swim is aimed at promoting peace, friendship and clean water.
