12-Percent Registered Unemployment Rate in May

Ljubljana, 18 July - Slovenia's workforce totalled 874,564 in May, of which 769,787 persons were registered as employed, a rise of 0.3 percent from April and 2 percent from May in 1999, figures from the National Statistics Office show. The registered unemployment rate was 12 percent in May, 0.4 percentage points down from April.
