Telekom Shares to Hit Ljubljana Stock Exchange in Early Autumn

Ljubljana, 18 July - Shares of Slovenia's telecommunications operator Telekom Slovenia are expected to hit the Ljubljana Stock Exchange in early autumn. This was explained to the STA by Chairman of the Board of Telekom Marjan Podobnik, who stated that the reason behind the delay is the change in tariffs during the acquisition process of a permit from the Stock Market Agency, that is why the company decided to wait with the placing of shares on the stock exchange. Podobnik, the former Deputy Prime Minister, expressed his conviction that investment into Telekom shares is a good investment. He also expressed his belief that the company can, through good work, reach the ambitious goal of SIT 15 billion (ca. 73 million euros) in consolidated profit for this year.
