Green Alternative Preparing International Conference on EU Enlargement and the Environment

Ljubljana, 19 July - A non parliamentary Slovene party, the Green Alternative, and the European Federation of Green Parties are preparing an international conference entitled European Union Enlargement and Environmental Priorities, which will take place in Ljubljana from 21 through 22 July. The conference will be attended by French Environment Minister Dominique Voynet and the rapporteur in the European Parliament committee on enlargement Alexander de Roo, as well as around 25 other European MPs and representatives of green parties from 16 European countries, it was expressed at Wednesday' press conference by leader of the Green Alternative Metka Filipic.
