Decision of SLS+SKD Would Destroy Agreement on Coalition Slovenia, Says Jansa

Ljubljana, 19 July - If the SLS+SKD Slovene People's Party were to support the proposal for an amendment to article 80 of the constitution it would render the agreement on the Coalition Slovenia null and void, Social Democrats leader Janez Jansa told the STA on Wednesday. The SDS would have nothing against the decision if it were passed by a body of the merged SLS+SKD party, but it does not agree with the deputy SLS+SKD group breaking the decision of the highest body of the party, since this is not in line with democracy and the statute of the SLS+SKD, Jansa replied to today's words of the SLS+SKD leader Franc Zagozen.
