Ministry of Culture Passes Decision on the Return of the Betnava Castle to the Maribor Diocese

Ljubljana, 19 July - The Slovene Ministry of Culture on Wednesday passed a decision on the return of the Betnava Castle to the Maribor diocese, reported Radio Slovenia. This is a partial decision as the issue of damages will be covered at a later date. The diocese thus received the ownership right of the castle and with that the use of the East and West wing of the castle, while the northern wing of the castle remains in the hands of the furniture manufacturer Lipa which has a salon there.
