No Cause for Concern over Pesticides in Food

Ljubljana, 20 July - The monitoring of pesticide remains in food and agricultural products in 1999 showed that the average exposure to pesticides through food is very low in Slovenia and not damaging to health. The analysis included food of Slovene origin and imported food, as well as agricultural products that reach consumers directly from fields.
