Gov't Passes Report on the Adoption of the Acquis

Ljubljana, 20 July - 77 percent of all laws to be passed in line with EU standards in the first half of 2000 have been adopted under the national programme of the adoption of the acquis until 2002, acting Director of the Government Office for European Affairs Janez Potocnik told the press after the government session. Given that the figure for the last six months of 1999 stood at 64 percent, one should be pleased with the progress, Potocnik added.
