Unemployment Continues to Fall in June

Ljubljana, 21 July - The number of unemployed persons in Slovenia stood at 103,355 at the end of June, which was an 11.6-percent drop compared to June 1999. Compared to May, the unemployment rate dropped by 1.4 percent. 109,448 unemployed persons were reported on average at the National Employment Office this year, which was 10.4 percent less than in the same period last year, the Office reported.
