Turnover at the Ljubljana Stock Exchange Totals SIT 126 Billion in First Six Months

Ljubljana, 21 July - The overall turnover at the Ljubljana Stock Exchange amounted to SIT 125.87 billion (611 million euros) in the first six months of 2000, an increase of SIT 5 billion (24 million euros) over the same period in 1999. The average monthly turnover in that period reached SIT 20.98 billion (102 million euros), while the monthly turnover in 1999 totalled SIT 22 billion (106 million euros).
