Poor Trading Week at Ljubljana Stock Exchange

Ljubljana, 22 July - The past week at the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) was marked by low trading and predominantly by package deals, which represented one-third of all trade. The Slovene share index, the SBI, finished the week at 1668.26 point or 0.42 percent less than a week before, while the index of authorised investment companies' fell 1.58 percent to stand at 1256.28 points. The free market index, IPT, followed the falling trend and ended the week down 0.49 percent at 991.57 points. Total trade at the stock exchange amounted to SIT 2.508 billion, of which SIT 976 million was handled in package deals.
