Ljubljana, 22 July - The issue of the electoral system by which Slovene citizens will vote at the next elections was once again the main issue echoing around Slovene political circles last week. The current ratio of parliamentarians for and against the amendment of article 80 of the constitution, in which the foundations of the improved proportional representation system would be written, was seen at Friday's session of the parliamentary commission for the electoral system and constitutional amendments which endorsed the proposal of the constitutional legislation with the required two-thirds majority.
