International Conference on EU Enlargement Concludes

Ljubljana, 22 July - The participants continued discussions on environmental problems in light of EU enlargement during the second and final day of the conference entitled "EU Enlargement and Environmental Priorities". Participants of the conference also touched upon EU sanctions against Austria. The President of the Green Alternative of Slovenia, a non-parliamentary party which is co-organising this conference, told the STA that all the green parties from member and candidate EU countries inclusive of Austria supported the EU to implement sanctions.
