Former PM Believes that Change in Constitution Will Solve the Election Issue

Ljubljana, 24 July - The President of the Liberal Democracy of Slovenia (LDS) and former Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek told the press after a closed door meeting of the party, that the Social Democrats' (SDS) proposal for a confirmatory referendum is aimed at the referendum failing so that Slovenia will continue to have "an unclear situation" in concern with the electoral system. That is why the LDS will not support the move to hold a referendum.
