Slovene Steelworks Well on Track to Recovery

Ljubljana, 25 July - Manufacturing companies within the Slovene Steelworks concern made an income of SIT 27.6 billion (133 million euro) in the first five months of the year. The companies, which are undergoing rehabilitation, thus managed to exceed the target figure by 18 percent and surpass last year's five-month income by 23 percent. Net operating profit of all nine manufacturing companies totaled SIT 1.02 billion (5 million euro), while profit minus liabilities resulting from funding amounted to SIT 186 million (898,000 euro).
