Representatives of Slovene Minority Organisations Meet with President of Italian Senate

Rome, 25 July - ITALY/MINORITY
Presidents of the two umbrella organisations for the Slovene minority in Italy, Sergij Pahor and Rudi Pavsic on Tuesday met with the President of the Italian Senate Nicolo Mancini. The pair expressed their efforts for a prompt debate on the protection legislation for Slovenia's minority which will have to be confirmed by the senate after it was passed in the Italian chamber of deputies on 12 July. Today's meeting was also attended by lawmakers Mitja Volcic and Julvio Camerini.
