No Proposals for Confirmatory Referendum Put Forward

Ljubljana, 25 July - No party submitted a proposal for a confirmatory referendum on Tuesday's decision to change Slovenia's electoral system. This comes despite the fact that the ruling coalition partner, the Social Democrats (SDS), said that they will push for such a referendum if the changes are adopted.
