Change of the Electoral Legislation Means Much for the Development of Democracy, Says LDS MP

Ljubljana, 25 July - "There were few opponents to the proposal, something that is shown by the fact that only 20 lawmakers out of the 90 seat parliament voted against, abstained or were absent from the vote," said the leader of the deputy group of the opposition Liberal Democracy (LDS) Tone Anderlic after Tuesday's decision in parliament to change Slovenia's electoral system. Anderlic said that the decision cannot be opposed given the large number of MPs that supported it.
