Ebner Says His Letter Was Misinterpreted

Ljubljana, 26 July - The co-chairman of the joint committee of the Slovene and European Parliaments, MP Michl Ebner, on Wednesday stated that his letter to Slovene senior officials was misinterpreted in media reports and during Tuesday's parliamentary session. The constitutional amendment adopted on Tuesday redefines the legal situation and we cannot but fully respect it, Ebner said in a statement, adding that he had no intention to intervene in Slovenia's internal political affairs.
