18-Year Old German Climber Dies When Descending from Highest Mountaintop of Triglav

Ljubljana, 26 July - An 18-year old German woman has died when descending from Kredarica. During the descent Helene M. removed her helmet, whereupon she was hit by a rock which was 30 centimetres in diametre. The injury was so severe that the climber died on the spot, the Slovene Interior Ministry reported on Wednesday. Helene M had come to Slovenia on a mountaineering tour with her parents and a brother.
