Steam Power Plant Receives Environmental Certificate

Šoštanj, 29 July - Sostanj Steam Power Station was granted on Saturday an ISO 9001 certificate for environment-friendly production of electricity and thermal energy. The plant which produces around one third of Slovenia's electricity output plans to further decrease its sulphur dioxide emissions. Over the last decade, the plant has completed five projects which resulted in reduced pollution.
