Slovene Sports Persons Taking Part in Sydney Olympics to be Known on 21 August

Ljubljana, 31 July - Slovenia's Sydney Olympics team will be officially chosen on 21 August by the executive board of the Olympic Committee of Slovenia. Slovene sports persons will then make a public appearance on 22 August in Ljubljana, with the first group travelling to Australia on 27 August, said the head of the Slovene sports delegation at the Sydney Summer Olympics, Dr. Marko Ilesic. "The executive board has the right to exclude the sports persons who are in bad shape or have been injured," he explained.
