Slovene Wines Awarded in San Francisco

Celje, 31 July - Six Slovene sorts of wine were awarded at this year's International Wine Competition in San Francisco, USA, at which a total of 2,800 samples were tested. While Grey Pinot (late vintage, y. 1989) produced by Vinag Maribor won a golden medal, the other five wines won bronze medals, the association of wine producers of Slovenia reported on Monday.
