Prime Minister Bajuk Elected President of New Slovenia - Christian People's Party

Ljubljana, 4 August - Over 200 founding members who gathered in Ljubljana on Friday to officially set up a new political party, New Slovenia - Christian People's Party, unanimously elected Prime Minister Andrej Bajuk leader of this new party. Bajuk, who has recently stepped out of the ruling SLS+SKD Slovene People's Party over a dispute about electoral legislation, was the one who gave the initiative to establish a new party.
