Opposition MP Addresses Letter to Foreign Minister Peterle

Ljubljana, 1 September - A member of the parliamentary committee for European Affairs and a United List of Social Democrats (ZLSD) MP, Aurelio Juri, on Friday addressed a letter to Foreign Minister Lojze Peterle in which he warned that as a result of Vienna's calls for the abolishment of the AVNOJ decisions, "Slovenia is being bogged down in conflictive and unproductive relations with Austria". The reason for this is the unsuitable response from the previous government on the appearance of Joerg Haider and the ignorant behaviour of the Bajuk government, Juri believes.
