Slovene and Italian Police Apprehend 48 Clandestine Immigrants

Nova Gorica, 10 September - As part of a joint operation launched by the Slovene and Italian police last night, 12 Iranian illegal immigrants wanting to enter Italy were apprehended by Slovene police near the Slovene city of Nova Gorica, while the Italian border authorities caught 36 clandestine immigrants, of whom 27 from Rumania, near the Italian city of Gorizia, the Nova Gorica police reported on Sunday.
