Slovene Defence Minister Pays Working Visit to the UK

Ljubljana, 11 September - Slovene Minister of Defence Janez Jansa met on Monday with his British counterpart Geoffery Hoon during a working visit to London. The two officials took this opportunity to discuss the situation in South East Europe. Both ministers were of the opinion that activities aiming at securing and strengthening security in the region are necessary, STA learnt from a source in the delegation accompanying Jansa. Slovenia's accession to the EU and its bid to join NATO were also discussed.
