Slovene Paper Company Gets Austrian Owner

Ljubljana, 11 September - Europapier, Austrian paper wholesaler, has become the majority owner of the Ljubljana-based company Papirografika through its subsidiary Europapier Slowenia. The change in ownership is to improve the status of the Slovene company with foreign suppliers, believes Papirografika chairman of the board Andrej Cercek, adding that in this manner the company would be able to make purchases under more favourable conditions. Both the Austrian and the Slovene companies are expected to substantially increase the volume of trade.
