Prime Minister Bajuk Received by Pope John Paul II

Vatican City, 14 September - Slovene Prime Minister Andrej Bajuk has completed his working visit to the Vatican, where he was received by Pope John Paul II and Vatican State Secretary Angelo Sodano earlier in the day. Bajuk and the two church officials discussed the Holy See's support for Slovenia's integration into Euro-Atlantic institutions, as well as the situation in SE Europe. Bajuk and his wife, who arrived in Rome on Wednesday evening from Budapest, were received in a 25-minute private audience.
