Government Decides to Negotiate with Bus Drivers and Medical Doctors

Ljubljana, 14 September - The government on Thursday drew up guidelines for talks with bus and lorry drivers in a bid to avoid road blockages scheduled for next week. According to Minister for Transportation Anton Bergauer, bus and lorry drivers, who expressed their dissatisfaction with transport prices, the lack of payment discipline, the system of permit granting back in 1998, are sure to be deterred from the strike when they see the guidelines. Talks will resume on Friday.
