Virtual Base by Slovene Artist Put on the Internet by London-Based Curator

Ljubljana, 18 September - Intima, a virtual base created by Slovene theatre director and new media artist Igor Stromajer, was chosen by London-based curator Matt Locke to be included on an on-line show entitled Degrees Feet Inches, a curated space for Internet-specific artworks. The other artists include Nina Pope, Karen Gutrhrie and Fiona Raby. The virtual base consists of three Internet art projects by Stromajer: "gsm.art" dating from 1999, and "mikrob.3/gps.art" as well as "wap.sonet-mikrob.4/wap.art", both dating from 2000.
